HOLIS NUTRITION

Have you ever thought about how much your mind plays a fundamental role in how you relate to food?

Our approach to food is an imaginary internal and external mirror, which reflects our state of mind.”

-Melissa

My non-clinical approach as a nutritional therapist-consultant and MB-EAT instructor involves learning and establishing a functional nutritional journey plan. MB-EAT involves guided mindfulness practices that are designed to address the core issues of BED (emotional, behavioural, and physiological dysregulation), controlling responses to varying emotional states; making conscious food choices; developing an awareness of hunger and satiety cues; and cultivating self-acceptance.

The study of human nutrition stems from personal needs, lifestyle, stress, and, unknowingly, interpersonal relationship. From the emotional gaps that I unwarily want to fill.

What emotions does food re-call in you?

Has a practitioner my goal is to make every single path holistic and functional. Being present, conscious, and grateful for the food that we eat.
